4.5 Adams Tutors does not process or hold any payment details. Any payment made is solely through Bank transfers or Cheques.
5. Disclosing personal information
5.1 If you sign up for online tutoring and select a tutor for a lesson the tutor will be given access to your account for the purpose of analysing the students performance. We will keep your personal information confidential within Adams Tutors and not pass it on to any third parties unless we are required to do so by law.
6. How do we keep your information safe?
6.1 We take practical steps to safeguard your information and to keep them safe and will continue to protect it from unauthorised access including, where appropriate using secure socket layer technology (SSL). Your information will only be kept for a commercially reasonable period of time for the purposes stated above.
6.2 We will store all the personal information you provide on our secure password- and firewall-protected servers.
7. Tutor interviews
7.1 Tutors may attend an interview with us. We will treat any personal data shared with us during interviews in accordance with this policy
8.2 A cookie is a file containing an identifier (a string of letters and numbers) that is sent by a web server to a web browser and is stored by the browser. The identifier is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server.

9. Retention Periods
9.1 As an active user on adamstutors.com we will continue to keep your personal data. If your account is inactive for a period of 540 days your date will automatically be removed from our data base.
10. Right to be Forgotten
10.1 You have the right to object to our use of your personal data and to ask us to delete it if there is no need for us to keep it. This is known as your right to be forgotten. Please inform us if you think we are retaining or using your personal data incorrectly. If you wish for us to delete any data we hold about you, please inform us in writing and we will delete your data within 3 working days, unless there is a legal reason why we are not allowed to do so.
11. Access to your data
11.1 You have the right to request a copy of all personal information that we hold about you. The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. You can exercise your right of access in accordance with the Act. Any access request is subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details. The details regards only the information we hold about you.

13.1 On the website you will see ‘social buttons’. There are buttons for: Twitter, Facebook and Youtube.
